  Notes	Jonathan Sparrow is named in the list of inhabitants which recorded the early settlers of Eastham on 22 May 1655. He served as Constable in 1656, on the Grand Jury in 1666 and 1679, as Town Council in 1675, as Collector of Minister Rate on 7 Jun 1670, as Selectman 1671 through 1686, as Representative 1668-1670, 1673-1679, 1681-1686 (when the government was interrupted by Sir Edmund Andros) and 1689-1691. He also served as an ensign, lieutenant in 1676, and Captain in 1678 during King Philip's War. [7]
