    • Joshua Hopkins was a shoemaker and farmer, residing on the east side of Town Cove at Eastham. He was admitted freeman there on 3 June 1690. Josiah Paine, Cape Cod historian, described Joshua as a very wealthy man, owning land in Eastham, Harwich and Chatham. [2]
